Black White and Raw Photography

Hey everyone, as you can see the Your Daily Cheesesteak website has not been updated in a while.  This was an endeavor we started a few years ago and concept we still believe in.  Lori and I got so busy with Black White and Raw Photography we had no time dedicate to YDC and put the site on hold.  We have kept it live because of the events and great photos we took covering them.   But please wander over to http://www.blackwhiteandraw.com and we probably have newer images of whoever and whatever you are looking for. Thanks again for stopping by.

Battleship Olympia Tattoo Convention 2012

Lori and I headed over to the Battleship Olympia Tattoo Convention 2012 late Sunday and even though things seemed to be winding down by that time, the setting was right for tattooing and flash art.  Tucked in between canons on each deck of the late 19th century battleship where artists and their setups.   Flash art adorned most available space on the two of the decks.  Food and beverages were affordable and had to have a token Pabst.

UnOccupied Philly

Well we haven’t been around much these last few weeks, but it’s time to step up the tempo again.  Took a walk around Center City today, the usual stuff going on everywhere, except a few major changes noted.  Occupy Philly is no longer camped out at City Hall.  They were removed last week, Dilworth plaza has been fenced-in, cleared, cleaned and ready for renovations.  Christmas Village has popped up across at Love Park.  It’s seems a crazy contrast to the anti-corporation protest that existed across the street for the past 2 months.  I was hoping to catch some of the Occupy marches the past few days but it seems they were bobbing and weaving when I was zigging and zagging and completely missed them.

Here are some photos from todays walk:
